Hello, I'm Brayan.

Backend Engineer, Security Enthusiast, and constant learner.

About Me

I started programming around the time I was 14 because I found a Udemy course on web development by Colt Steele. This led me to get an internship at Axxess Technology Solutions when I was 17, going into my senior year of high school. Funny enough, my first day of work was on my birthday.

Upon graduating high school, I went to community college and worked part-time at a car wash in the fall of 2019. During the summer, I kept programming and making websites. I graduated with an Associate’s degree in Computer Information Technology from Dallas College in the spring of 2021.

For a year, I worked part-time taking odd jobs to support myself and my family. I was finally able to save enough to attend The University of Texas at Dallas in the fall of 2022. Of course, I went straight into Computer Science. It was during my final year that I discovered cybersecurity. I took many electives in cybersecurity and graduated in May of 2025.

I have been earning certificates in cybersecurity, such as the Security+, and I am currently working on the HTB CPTS. I currently work part-time cleaning houses while pursuing my first programming role. My ultimate goal is to become an Application Security Developer. I have been cleaning all this time; I might as well clean up and secure other people’s code, right?
